The Glass State

Black box trading or High Frequency trading accounts for half of the activity performed daily on the financial markets. Gigantic plants full of algorithms and self learning computers. This isn’t sci-fi but daily reality. It all looks to difficult to understand. What’s the purpose of this? To put it crystal clear: earning money. The problem is that they parasite on our economy instead  of serving our economy. They don't create extra oxygene for the economy, they suck money out of the economy, the government (by savings) and households (through deposit mismanagement and diverse funds).
