Koen Van Elsen was born on october 22 1972, Lier Belgium, after a devastating day and night.  After Latin and mathematics, he studied at the Catholic University of Leuven, obtained a master in philosophy and a bachelor in economy. Co-founded Art of Confusion special effects. In 2002 struck by a stroke. After a long revalidation he started a glass education at IKA Mechelen, Belgium. From 2015 on,he works as an independent glass artist. In 2016 a working place was built at the zoning d’activités mixtes ‘le tilleul’ in Warempage, near La Roche-en-Ardenne, Belgium.
